 | GMAS GrazeMax All SeasonA medium long term mixture with a wide spread of heading dates to extend the grazing season and provide palatable forage over an extended period. This type of forage is much preferred to stemmy, dry and fibrous material, therefore it is advantageous to graze swards when the grass is young and no longer than 5 - 6 inches. It should not be grazed lower than 2 - 3 inches or recovery will be delayed. Management along these lines will enable the farmer to gauge what grass will be available in certain fields based on a recovery period of 4 weeks in the early season and 6 weeks in the late season.
