Habitat: Woodland, grassy places damp soils often near streams
Flowering: January to March
Flowers: Pure white, pendulous 20-30mm
Planting: Autumn bulbs are available if required, but it is better practice to plant bulbs in the green as the establishment of autumn bulbs can be very poor
In the Green: More reliable establishment than dry bulbs plant 10/ sq metre from Mid February
Plant 2" deep as soon as possible. The foliage may be dying back, but this is normal, the bulb is still moist. These are sent in the green as they resent drying out. Despatched from February
