Turf Ordering InformationNext day delivery is the norm, but a little notice helps us to ensure accurate deliveries to most destinations in the UK.
Smaller orders are distributed by a pallet carrier with various ranges of daily delivery time. Larger orders are distributed by rigid or articulated lorry with forklift offload facilities available on most vehicles. (£30.00 + vat Extra) - Standard Rolls: 1m2 each, measuring 61cm x 164cm approx.
- Big Rolls: 20m2 each, measuring 74cm x 27.2m approx
- Larger roll formats are available (up to 120cm wide)
- Turf Soil Depth: 10-15mm
- Approx Roll Weights: Standard rolls: 14kg dry, 17kg wet
- Big Rolls: 300kg dry, 450kg wet
- Soil Type: The turf is grown a range of sandy loams and coarse loamy sands.
- Most turf undergoes treatments against invasion by poa annua(annual meadow grass)
- For the larger contract we can offer custom grown turf.
